Students of Grades 11 and 12 participated in a community outreach programme at the Sita Nagar and Sacred Heart Community Centre, transforming a day of service into a vibrant experience of learning, creativity, and connection.
They were welcomed by the children’s cheerful smiles and enthusiasm, which set the tone for a day filled with meaningful interaction and shared discovery. The students conducted engaging teaching sessions that made learning English enjoyable through storytelling, descriptive writing activities, and history-based videos that brought concepts vividly to life.
A highlight of the programme was the Winds of Change activity, which introduced the concept of waste segregation through lively demonstrations. The children eagerly participated in identifying biodegradable, recyclable, and hazardous waste, turning environmental awareness into a fun and practical learning experience.
The visit left a lasting impression on everyone involved. It stood as a reminder that when compassion and curiosity come together, learning transcends classrooms; creating moments of genuine connection and lasting impact.
