As part of the Joy of Giving initiative, fourteen students from Sacred Heart Convent International School visited Ramdas Village in the Amritsar District to extend support to flood-affected families. The students distributed the contributions collected by the school community, bringing comfort and relief to those affected.
They were warmly received by Sister Pressy and the villagers, whose warmth and hospitality deeply moved everyone. The group also visited the last Indian village on the banks of the River Ravi, a moment that filled them with awe and reflection as they stood near the border that silently narrates stories of connection and separation.
The visit proved to be both emotional and inspiring, reminding the young hearts of the power of compassion, gratitude, and shared humanity. It was an experience that truly embodied the spirit of giving and left an indelible mark on every participant.
