Grade 3 students have been delving into the mysteries of The Universe in their Social Studies class, their passionate mentor, Ms. Gagan Pardhan, with the unwavering support of the esteemed Principal, Sr. Shanthi D’Souza, and Vice Principal, Sr. Sabina Oliveira, orchestrated a remarkable visit to the Planetarium last Saturday, April 27th. Much to the students’ delight, the generous Principal granted them the gift of spending enjoyable moments amidst nature’s embrace.
Before immersing themselves in the wonders of the cosmos at the planetarium, the students relished a delightful picnic surrounded by lush greenery, basking in the warmth of the sun and indulging in delectable treats. Filled with renewed energy and anticipation, they entered the dimly lit dome, their eyes widening in amazement at the sight of stars twinkling above them. Guided by knowledgeable educators, they embarked on a fascinating journey through galaxies, delving into the mysteries of celestial bodies and witnessing awe-inspiring cosmic phenomena. Each moment sparked curiosity and ignited a passion for space exploration, leaving an indelible mark on the minds of young learners.
Finally,they emerged from the experience with a longing for more such enriching adventures!
