Sacred Heart Convent International School organized an engaging Storytelling Session for students of Nursery to UKG on 24th October 2025, aimed at nurturing imagination, language development, and social-emotional learning in early childhood.
The session featured the story “The Kind Bear,” shared through expressive narration and the use of colourful props. The resource person, Ms. Sahiba Arora, facilitated the session with warmth and enthusiasm, helping the story come alive for the children. The storytelling began with a lively rhyme to capture attention and continued through interactive moments where students were encouraged to observe, respond, and reflect.
Activities like these play an important role in strengthening listening skills, vocabulary, confidence, and moral understanding. The message of kindness and sharing was conveyed in a gentle and engaging manner, enabling children to connect with values through experience rather than instruction.
The young learners participated eagerly throughout and thoroughly enjoyed the joyful and imaginative environment created for them. The session proved to be a meaningful step in promoting holistic learning at the foundational stage.
