“Remember, look up at the stars and not down at your feet”
Keeping in mind, this quote, an interactive session in 3 different groups involving classes 1-9 was organised by space India organisation in the school premises on 02.08.2023.
Founded by Mr Sachin Bhamba this organisation conducts workshops and teaches the students various aspects of astronomy in a realistic and practical way.
First, an activity of shooting hydro-rockets in Sky was performed in the school playground.
Then the coaches taught the facts behind the rocket and space science with various activities where they prepared a comet like structure using a slurry and dry ice.
Then they showed the colours of various reactions occurring in the space using chemicals and laboratory apparatus. Students and teachers actively participated with much enthusiasm. It was an enlightening and informative session throughout.
