On March 11, 2025, Sacred Heart Convent International School witnessed a historic evening as we bid farewell to our first-ever outgoing batch of Grade 12 students. The farewell function, Soirée 2025, held on the school ground, was a beautiful blend of emotions, nostalgia, and celebration, thoughtfully put together by the students of Grades 9, 10, and 11.
The evening was filled with warmth and excitement as juniors expressed their love and admiration through a series of well-prepared performances. From soul-stirring songs to lively dance performances, a humorous yet touching skit, and engaging games, every act reflected the deep bond shared between the seniors and their younger schoolmates. Adding a personal touch to the occasion, each Grade 12 student was honoured with a unique title, highlighting their qualities and contributions to the school.
A key highlight of the evening was the graduation ceremony, conducted with full tradition and dignity. Each outgoing student was called onto the stage, where they were presented with their graduation gown and cap, symbolizing their transition to a new phase of life. Making the moment even more special, their parents were invited to join them on stage, witnessing and celebrating their child’s milestone alongside the school community. Along with the ceremonial attire, each student was also presented with a memento and a special gift, marking their journey and achievements.
The evening was graced by the chief guest, Sr Helen D’Costa, Education Coordinator, BES Northern Province, along with Sr Principal, Sr Vice Principal, Sr Chantal (Manager), and all the Bethany Sisters, whose presence and words of encouragement left a lasting impact on the graduating students. The formal proceedings seamlessly gave way to an evening of shared memories, heartfelt conversations, and laughter over a sumptuous meal. As students, parents, and teachers reminisced about their time together, the air was filled with a mix of joy and bittersweet emotions. It was a night of reflection, gratitude, and celebration—one that will remain etched in the hearts of all who were a part of it.
