On 21 November, SHCIS students of grade III-A visited Sacred Heart Community centre, Sita Nagar. Vice Principal Sr. Sabina Oliveira, Class Teacher Ms. Gagan Pardhan and Co-teacher Ms. Pavan accompanied the students with the purpose of distributing goodies to poor and underprivileged children.
The visit aimed to provide some joy and support to those who are in need and to create a sense of unity and compassion among the school children. They were greeted by the center staff who organised the distribution and ensured that the event ran smoothly. The goodies included snacks, school supplies, and other small gifts.
The children eagerly participated in the distribution, interacting with the recipients and sharing smiles and laughter. Everyone was all praises for the discipline and the decorum displayed by children at the Community Centre. The event not only brought happiness to the underprivileged children but also taught the school children about the importance of empathy and giving back to the community. It was a heartwarming and impactful visit that left a lasting impression on both the visitors and the recipients.
