Students of Grades 9, 11, and 12 from the Science Stream of the School embarked on an educational excursion to Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. This visit was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the fields of Chemistry and Environmental Management.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by esteemed professors and PhD scholars at the university. The excursion began with a tour of the Chemistry Department, where live demonstrations of experiments aligned with the IGCSE and A-Level curricula captivated the students. These interactive sessions offered valuable insights into the real-world relevance of chemistry.
The next stop was the Soil Science Department, where the department head delivered an engaging session on Indian geography and environmental sustainability. Students gained a deeper understanding of how environmental management plays a crucial role in addressing global challenges.
This immersive experience not only reinforced classroom concepts but also inspired curiosity and a deeper appreciation for science. By witnessing practical applications firsthand, students discovered new avenues for exploration and career aspirations in science-related fields.
Educational initiatives like this highlight the school’s commitment to fostering experiential learning and holistic development, preparing students to think critically and contribute meaningfully to society.
