To mark the beginning of the new academic term after the summer break, Sacred Heart Convent International School hosted a vibrant and uplifting Welcome Assembly.
The morning commenced with an engaging storytelling session that conveyed an inspiring message: with clear goals, consistency, and discipline, one can accomplish anything one sets their mind to. This thoughtful narrative encouraged students to return to their academic journey with renewed focus and determination.
The assembly continued with an energetic action song performed by the Junior House Council members, followed by a lively Zumba session that brought joy and movement to the entire school community. These activities were thoughtfully curated to infuse students with positive energy and enthusiasm as they transition back to school life.
Sister Shanthi, the worthy principal beautifully used the metaphor of an earthen pot, describing students as soft clay shaped by the divine potter—manifested through teachers, parents, and elders—who guide, mold, and nurture them into strong, purposeful individuals.
