Rakhi Making Activity
In celebration of the joyous festival of Raksha Bandhan, SHCIS organized a Rakhi Making Activity, bringing together creativity and tradition in a wonderful display of craftsmanship. This event provided students with the opportunity to express their love through the creation of personalized Rakhis.
Students from grade I to V participated with great enthusiasm, each bringing their unique ideas to life. The classrooms were transformed into vibrant workshops where colorful threads, beads, sequins, and other decorative materials were used to craft beautiful Rakhis. Teachers guided the students, encouraging them to explore their artistic talents while explaining the significance of Raksha Bandhan—a festival that honors the bond between brothers and sisters.
The activity not only allowed students to engage in a creative process but also instilled a deeper understanding of cultural traditions. The beautifully crafted Rakhis were later displayed for judgement, showcasing the students’ efforts and creativity. The event was a memorable experience, fostering a sense of togetherness and cultural appreciation among the students.
Overall, the Rakhi Making Activity was a delightful way to celebrate this cherished festival, leaving students with a sense of accomplishment and a deeper connection to their cultural heritage.
