Prayer involves elevating one’s mind and heart to God or seeking positive outcomes from Him. On Saturday, January 20th, a Prayer Session took place at the school for students facing IGCSE and AS Level board exams. The event had notable attendees, including the school manager, Sr. Chantal, KG block Incharge Sr. Sudha, SHCIS Principal Sr. Shanthi, Vice Principal Sr. Sabina, community sisters, teachers, students, and parents. The session commenced with an Event Introduction, followed by Diya Lighting and a Prayer Song. The passages from Bible, Gita, and Guru Granth Sahib were read. Short prayers were offered for Students, Sisters, Management, Staff, parents and the Exam Conducting Committee. A calm and serene atmosphere was created to invoke Lord’s blessings as students received the light from Sr Chantal and Sr Shanthi, while the choir sang ‘Showers of Blessings’ with parents and teachers extending their hands towards the students to bless and wish them well.
