Our school recently held a vibrant Poetry Recitation Competition on 1st August 2024, for students from grades 6 to 8, showcasing their talent in all the languages being taught in school. Poetry Recitation is a cherished tradition that offers students a unique opportunity to explore language, express emotions, and find appreciation in the lyricism of poetic discourse.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from numerous students, each eager to share their love for poetry in multiple languages.The competition celebrated linguistic diversity and cultural richness. Each student took to stage with confidence, delivering their chosen poems with impressive poise and clarity. The audiences were enthralled by heartfelt recitations, which ranged from humorous and light-hearted pieces to deeply emotional and thought provoking works.
Judges praised the participants for their expressive delivery, clear articulation and expressions. The event not only highlighted the students’ poetic talents but also cultivated a greater appreciation for the beauty of languages.
