At Sacred Heart Convent International School, our teachers took a meaningful step toward personal growth with a Financial Literacy Workshop led by Mr. Bhavdeep Singh Ahuja. The session was designed to help educators understand how to manage their money wisely, plan for the future, and make smart financial choices.
Mr. Ahuja spoke about the importance of saving, budgeting, and investing—especially for teachers who often juggle personal responsibilities along with the demands of their profession. He shared practical tips on how to strike a healthy balance between spending and saving, and how simple financial habits today can lead to a secure and stress-free tomorrow.
He also touched on key areas such as planning for children’s education, setting aside money for emergencies, and preparing for retirement. The session encouraged teachers to start thinking proactively about their financial goals and how to achieve them step by step.
Easy to follow and deeply relevant, the workshop gave our educators clarity, confidence, and motivation to take control of their finances. We thank Mr. Bhavdeep Singh Ahuja for delivering such an engaging and empowering session that truly supports the well-being of our teaching community—both inside and outside the classroom.
