On 1 July 2026, the staff of SHCIS came together for a meaningful programme comprising three significant events that celebrated new beginnings, institutional formation, and a heartfelt farewell.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the newest members of the family – Sr Prema, Our new Principal, Sr Helen, Superior of the Convent and Sr Zelie, assisting our School.
The staff extended a cordial reception, expressing their joy and support as the Sisters assumed their new responsibilities within the school community.
The staff had an enriching orientation by our worthy manager Sr Chantal, who highlighted and provided valuable insights into the history, vision, mission, formation, and guiding principles of BES, helping the staff gain a deeper understanding of the Society’s educational philosophy and the values that inspire its mission.
With gratitude we bid a heartfelt farewell to our dearest principal Sr Shanthi, who rendered her committed services for 7years to SHCIS family. The gathering was filled with gratitude and emotion as the staff acknowledged her dedicated service, inspiring leadership, and invaluable contributions to the school. Warm wishes and prayers were offered as she embarks on her new assignment, with the assurance that her presence and commitment will always be fondly remembered.
The day’s programme concluded with a fellowship lunch, celebrating the good results our school achieved this year. It also provided an opportunity for the staff to interact, strengthen bonds of camaraderie, and celebrate the occasion in a spirit of unity and gratitude.
