On a bright and cheerful Saturday, the young minds of Grades I and II at Sacred Heart Convent International School took part in a joyful and imaginative activity — The Photo Storytelling Challenge.
Using pictures and their own drawings, our budding storytellers built creative tales, complete with characters, plots, and plenty of imagination. Each child brought their story to life in their own special way — through colours, expressions, and ideas that reflected their unique way of seeing the world.
The activity encouraged students to think creatively, organize their thoughts, and share their stories confidently — not just through words, but also through visuals. It was a wonderful opportunity to help children build communication skills, sequencing, and self-expression in a fun and engaging format.
Watching them present their stories with pride and joy was truly heartwarming. These little narrators reminded us all of the power of imagination and the importance of giving children the space to express it.
Activities like the Photo Storytelling Challenge play a valuable role in helping our students become confident, curious, and expressive learners—ready to share their voice with the world.
