As part of its vibrant English Enrichment Programme, Sacred Heart Convent International School hosted a dynamic and engaging workshop titled “Emotions and Expressions” on July 19, 2025, for students of Grades 3 to 5. The session was conducted by the expert team from Linguistic Laurels, who brought an innovative blend of language learning and emotional exploration into the classroom.
Designed to build emotional intelligence alongside language skills, the workshop featured a series of thoughtfully curated activities—including “Show but Don’t Tell” emotion exercises, dramatized storytelling, and a fun-filled emotion word-hunt. Each task encouraged students to dive deep into the world of feelings while strengthening their vocabulary, sentence formation, and expressive abilities.
The hour-long session proved to be both meaningful and memorable. Students participated with enthusiasm and curiosity, developing not only their linguistic abilities but also greater empathy, self-awareness, and confidence in self-expression.
