Sacred Heart Convent International School organised a Counselling Orientation Programme for students of Classes X, XI, and XII to help them make informed academic and career decisions. The session highlighted the importance of selecting subject combinations that align with students’ interests, abilities, aptitude, and future aspirations.
Students received detailed guidance on the admission procedures followed by leading Indian universities and gained an understanding of the entrance examinations associated with various career paths. The programme focused on examinations such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced for engineering, NEET for medicine, CLAT for law, NATA, UCEED, and NID DAT for architecture and design, CUET for undergraduate admissions, and IPMAT and CA Foundation for commerce and management studies.
The orientation also shed light on emerging career opportunities and the growing need for flexible and adaptable subject choices in a rapidly changing world. Particular emphasis was placed on maintaining strong academic records, excelling in entrance examinations, and building well-rounded profiles through leadership roles, extracurricular activities, internships, community service, and skill development initiatives. The programme inspired students to make thoughtful choices and confidently prepare for the future.
