The spirit of Raksha Bandhan was beautifully celebrated at Sacred Heart Convent International School through a thoughtful and creative activity—DIY Rakhi Gift Boxes from Best Out of Waste—organized for students of Grades 6 to 9. With imagination and festive cheer, students transformed everyday materials into charming gift boxes filled with rakhis, roli, tikka, sweets, and heartfelt tokens.
More than just a craft session, the activity became a touching tribute to the bond between siblings. Students penned personal notes to their brothers and sisters, expressing love, gratitude, and fond memories, infusing every box with emotional warmth.
The initiative blended creativity with cultural appreciation, nurturing not only artistic expression but also empathy and emotional intelligence. The joy of collaboration and the spirit of tradition were evident in every corner of the classroom.
Such activities continue to enrich students’ learning journeys, fostering deeper connections—with one another and with the values that make our celebrations meaningful.
