The young learners of Nursery, LKG and UKG at Sacred Heart Convent International School celebrated Friendship Day through joyful, hands-on creative activities that beautifully blended imagination with values.
Our Nursery learners enthusiastically made colourful Friendship Bands, learning the importance of sharing, caring, helping, and making their friends feel special. The LKG and UKG learners creatively designed vibrant Friendship Day Photo Frames, decorating them with colourful stickers, stars, patterns, and embellishments. The children proudly displayed their creations, shared them with friends, and enjoyed capturing precious moments through photographs.
The activities encouraged creativity, fine-motor skills, communication, collaboration, and social-emotional development, reflecting the Cambridge Early Years approach to purposeful and experiential learning. Through meaningful conversations, the children also learnt that being a good friend means being kind, respectful, helpful, and inclusive.
We sincerely thank the School Authorities and the Management for providing our young learners with such enriching opportunities to celebrate friendship, kindness, and togetherness.
