Our school was privileged to welcome Sr Shanthi Priya, the Vice President of the Bethany Educational Society, and Sr Sandhya, the Secretary of the Bethany Educational Society. Their visit was a moment of great honour and joy for the entire school community.
On March 18th, 2026 The programme commenced with a vibrant and culturally rice reception. Teachers extended a warm Punjabi welcome with colourful phulkaris, the rhythmic beats of the dhol, and a traditional tilak. The occasion was further enriched with authentic Punjabi delicacies, creating a festive and heartfelt atmosphere.
The session began with a solemn prayer service, accompanied by a melodious hymn, invoking divine blessings for the occasion. Following this, the distinguished guests were accorded a graceful floral welcome as a token of love and respect.
A specially curated video presentation of our school activities and the Achievers’ Gallery was showcased, highlighting the remarkable history and accomplishments of the school and students, reflecting the school’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
In her address, Sr Shanthi Priya emphasised the importance of education for excellence and encouraged teachers to use education as a powerful tool to help students reach great heights. Drawing inspiration from Pope Francis, she urged educators to uphold the nobility of the teaching profession and to nurture students holistically—through the language of the head, heart, and hand—while instilling values of courtesy and respect. She also expressed appreciation for the school’s Joy of Giving Week initiative, acknowledging its contribution to fostering empathy and social responsibility among students.
The Bethany Educational Society (BES) envisions “Transformative Education for the Fullness of Life towards Human Fraternity”, guided by four core priorities:

On March 19th, Sr Sandhya, the Secretary of BES, addressed the staff and provided valuable insights into the history, goals, themes, and ethos of the Bethany Educational Society. She elaborated on the core values that define a Bethany teacher, inspiring the staff to embody these principles in their professional journey and contribute meaningfully to the mission of holistic education.
The visit proved to be deeply inspiring and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to excellence and value-based education.
